In Mousesteps Weekly #318, we talk about the following topics:

We were invited to a Christmas in July media event to learn about what is going on at Walt Disney World for the holiday season. We share a little of that, including meeting Mickey and Minnie in their Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade costumes as well as changes to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and a look at new merchandise. We will share more from the event in the future!

Our next stop is Epcot, where Denise was wanting to pick up a few unique birthday gifts. Along the way, we ran into Pooh and Piglet, Pinocchio, Donald Duck with Mariachi Cobre; stopped at France; pass by Epcot Food and Wine Festival food booths (the festival opens August 29th!) and stop in America. Liberty Inn closed on July 8th, and the upcoming Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will take its place.

We were invited to Enzo's Hideaway and The Edison at Disney Springs to preview their late night menus. Enzo's Hideaway offers a dedicated menu with a variety of drinks and food, and The Edison has specially priced items from Monday-Thursday 10p - 12a. We don't know how long the late night menus will last (there is no end date at this time).

Our last stop is Buena Park, which is home to Knott's Berry Farm. We were invited on this day tour by Buena Park and show a few of the stops we made that day. Knott's Berry Farm is a favorite theme park of ours outside of Disney, with unique seasonal events like the Boysenberry Festival. We share some of the park, which at this time has two seasonal events going on - Ghost Town Alive! and Knott's Summer Nights. Seasonal events often don't run every day, so check out the calendar on the website if you are visiting.

We stop inside the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel (during the tour), where we asked to see a Snoopy themed room. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Knott's Berry Farm.

Our other two stops shown are at Rock and Brews and Porto's Bakery. We have talked about Rock and Brews previously, the food is good and is a terrific stop in Buena Park if you are not going to Mrs. Knott's for chicken. And Porto's was not known to us prior to this, but has a 50 year history in Southern California, offering Cuban food items as well as other delicious treats, sandwiches, soups and more.
